Lake Compounce will be holding its annual job fair in the Starlight Theatre on March 21st, 3pm-6pm, and March 22nd, 11am-3pm. The job fair will give you the opportunity to fill out an application, learn more about working at the park, and be interviewed by our management team. Seasonal jobs are available in waterpark, rides, games, retail, catering, foods, guest relations, housekeeping, public service, and maintenance.

Team members are given complimentary passes for the park, discounts on food and merchandise, outstanding performance awards, and flexible schedules. Lake Compounce also hosts special team member parties throughout the summer.

Parents, did you know Lake Compounce provides a great place for a class trip? Besides spending the day at America’s oldest family theme park, your child will have the opportunity to participate in educational programs that are provided. Lake Compounce will turn a day of learning into a day of fun.

Education days are designated days in May and June when the park is open 9-4. The cost of attending an education day is $14.00 per person. One chaperone gets in free with every 10 students. Meal plans are also available for an additional $5.25 for either a hotdog or hamburger and French fries or 2 slices of pizza.

American Diabetes Alert Day
The American Diabetes Alert Day is a one-day, “wake-up” call to inform the American public about the seriousness of diabetes. The American Diabetes Association encourages people to take the Diabetes Risk Test and find out if they are at risk for developing diabetes. The 20th annual American Diabetes Alert Day is Tuesday, March 25, 2008.

What is the Diabetes Risk Test?
On Diabetes Alert Day, the American Diabetes Association will "Sound the Alert" about the dangers of diabetes. People are encouraged to take the Diabetes Risk Test. The risk test requires users to answer seven simple questions about weight, age, lifestyle and family history -- all potential risk factors for diabetes. People scoring 10 points or more are at a high risk for type 2 diabetes and are encouraged to see a health care professional for further evaluation.
