The Reason
The Graveyard was started by Ernie and Carol Romegialli in 1991 when their daughter was diagnosed with diabetes.

To date more than $600,000 has been donated to diabetes research, and this year portion of this year’s proceeds will benefit the American Diabetes Association
In addition, local schools and organizations have also received over $55,000 of the proceeds from the tickets sales.

What’s New this year
New terrors for the intrepid this year include the Slaughter House, Zombie Forest, the Hell Holler and the Saw Mill.

Country Meat Market Slaughter House
A familiar taste of the country side with a gruesome twist
Those brave enough to travel through the Haunted Graveyard this October are invited to enter this meat market gone horribly wrong. The Country Meat Market Slaughterhouse has been abandoned for years, but kicks back into operation this fall to offer up grade-A horrors just in time for Halloween. The Market opens its doors weekends in October for tours of its slaughterhouse and meat packing facilities for anybody who can stomach the journey. The farm folk have been busy all summer carving up choice cuts for guests this autumn, and they’re looking for some fresh meat. What’s on the menu? Let’s just say that guests should be sure not to stray from the group.

Zombie Forest
A disorienting trek through a forest of the undead
Thrill seekers plunge into a dense birch tree forest with a gruesome twist when they enter the Zombie Forest at the Haunted Graveyard this October. Visitors are invited to navigate through this possessed stretch of woods, but are warned of what might be lurking in the shadows. Amongst the flash of lightning and the calls of the night, rotting corpses back from the dead seek the flesh of unsuspecting hikers. Scare seekers beware: be sure to wear your hiking boots; we’ve heard that the walk is hell.

Hell Holler
A possessed mountain settlement waiting for new victims
Everyone, young and old, is encouraged to practice extreme caution in the woods surrounding the Haunted Graveyard this October. Visitors will wander into a dilapidated forest clearing seemingly abandoned years ago, finding themselves in mountain country. However, don’t be fooled by the quiet surroundings. All are advised to avoid the possessed occupants of these forgotten hills, for the people of this settlement are driven by the demonic madness that isolation has brought them. They’re not used to newcomers, so beware of their particular brand of hospitality.

Saw Mill
A deserted lumber mill with a psychotic forester
This October, visitors to the trails of the Haunted Graveyard will have to make their way through the newly-uncovered saw mill. This eerie mill was once a hub of activity, but has since been retaken by the dense forest that surrounds it. Abandoned years ago, the mill is cared for by a lone woodsman who loves to show intruders just what the mill can do. Guests can rest assured that falling logs won’t be the only thing they have to look out for.
