Our Lake Compounce Halloween festival is the perfect spooktacular event for every member of the family. Families with young children are invited to come during the daytime hours for family fun and Halloween activities. Try yummy fall treats, enjoy kiddie land rides, and play themed games.
For the ultimate fright, visit at night. The fear kicks into gear after 6pm. Older kids and adults are welcome, but only if you dare. Test the limits of your fear at our four different haunted houses and, three scare zones, and thrilling rides in the dark. Enjoy fall-themed treats and hot drinks.

Something sinister fills the air as you enter the Phantom's Masquerade Ball. Do you face the plague raging on outside or the Phantom and his demonic guests inside? It's not too late to leave through the gates.

Do you dare to enter the wilderness at night? An evening stroll sounds relaxing. Until you hear cracks in the nearby trees, and shadows begin to emerge from the darkness. Suddenly you’re surrounded by mythical monsters of the night with no escape in sight.

300 years after their torture and trial, the witches of Connecticut have returned and have taken over at Lake Compounce. You must face the wicked witches, will they let you live?

Will you go down the Rabbit Hole or Through the Looking Glass? The choice sends you down one of two terrifying paths inhabited by the evil residents of Wonderland – who’ll be all too happy to escort you to the mad Red Queen herself. Off with your head!

Are costumes allowed during Phantom Fall Fest?
Yes, costumes are even encouraged during our day time hours! Some costumes may not be permitted on select rides for safety purposes. Prop weapons, face paint, and masks are not permitted at any point during Phantom Fall Fest.
Can you bring a group to Phantom Fall Fest?
Yes! Discounts are available during Phantom Fall Fest for groups of 10 or more. Contact our group sales team at info@lakecompounce.com.
Are there any age restrictions?
Phantom Fall Fest nights are recommended for adults and brave children. If you or someone in your group become too scared to continue, there are many emergency exits throughout each attraction. Please stop an actor and let them know and you will be directed to the exit. Guests under the age of 18 must have a chaperone with them that is over the age of 21. Chaperones may not escort more than 4 guests under the age of 18 into the park.
Are the scare actors allowed to touch you?
The actors will not touch you at Lake Compounce; however, they do get very close. Occasionally you may end up brushing up against their costumes or props.
Are the haunts accessible to guests with disabilities?
Yes they are. Please stop by guest services so they can answer your questions and give you more specific information.
Do haunted houses utilize fog machines?
Yes, we use fog liberally during Phantom Fall Fest nights. If you find the smoke or odors too intense, there are emergency exits throughout each attraction. Please stop an actor and let them know and you will be directed to the exit.
Are there strobe lights?
Yes, strobe lights are in operation in some of our haunted attractions.
Is flash photography allowed inside of your haunted attractions?
No photography of any sort is permitted inside the haunts.
Can I bring food and drink into the park during Phantom Fall Fest?
Food from outside of Lake Compounce is not allowed inside the park. Exemptions may be made for medical or dietary restrictions. For additional information contact info@lakecompounce.com.
Do you sell souvenirs?
Yes! Souvenirs can be found in a number of gift shops and kiosks located throughout the park.
