NEW Chaperone Policy

All guests ages 17 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old with a valid ID to enter the park at any time. Chaperones may not escort more than 4 guests.

Cashless

Only electronic payments such as debit cards, credit cards, and mobile payments like Apple Pay and Google Pay will be accepted. Cash to Card Kiosks are available throughout the park for guest use. For more information please visit our Cashless page.

Rainy Day Guarantee

We offer a Rainy Day Guarantee! If the park closes due to weather, stop by Guest Relations as you exit and present your ticket stub or online order confirmation and we'll give you a free ticket to return another day. Weather Guarantee tickets will only be issued within 2 days of your original visit and cannot be claimed after. 

Entrance Policy

Lake Compounce has enhanced our security standards. To reduce wait times into the park, we ask that you bring only necessary items in a bag no larger than 15” x 15” x 15”, bags needed for childcare supplies and medical bags larger than this size will be permitted into the park. 

During Phantom Fall Fest, bags that are larger than 8” X 5” X 2” will not be permitted into the park with the exception of bags needed for childcare supplies and medical bags.

Bag & Cooler Policy

Lake Compounce allows one bag per guest with a maximum size of 15” x 15” x 15” into the park, in addition to one soft-sided cooler 12”x12”x12”, all food and beverages must fit within the cooler. Exceptions will be made for bags holding child supplies and medical bags. No alcohol or glass containers will be permitted. Hard-sided coolers are not allowed into Lake Compounce.

During Phantom Fall Fest, bags that are larger than 8” X 5” X 2” will not be permitted into the park with the exception of bags needed for childcare supplies and medical bags.

No Weapons

No weapons or dangerous items will be allowed into the park.

    Effective Saturday, September 21, 2024

    We are committed to maintaining a family friendly environment where our visitors can feel safe and welcome as they enjoy a day in our park.

    To continue our commitment, effective as of Saturday, September 21, 2024, Lake Compounce will implement a chaperone policy. All guests ages 17 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old with a valid ID to enter the park at any time. Chaperones may not escort more than 4 guests.

    These changes will allow Lake Compounce to continue to provide a positive environment where all park-goers can come to enjoy a day of uninterrupted entertainment. The safety of our park guests and our Team Members remains our top priority.

    Under this updated policy, all guests ages 17 and younger must be accompanied by a chaperone at least 21 years of age or older at all times when inside the park, or the minors will face immediate ejection from the park. This policy is subject to change at Lake Compounce’s discretion.

    Upon park entry, a chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One chaperone may accompany no more than four guests ages 17 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry and throughout their park visit.

    This chaperone policy applies to all Lake Compounce Single-Day Ticket Holders and Season Pass Holders. For questions regarding school groups please contact the Group Sales department.

    When does the chaperone policy go into effect?

    Why are you implementing this policy?
    Safety is at the core of everything we do at Lake Compounce and our commitment to the safety of our guests and our Team Members is our top priority. Over the past several summer seasons, parks across the U.S. have seen an increase in unruly behavior from younger park-goers. Through this updated policy, our goal is to combat this behavior and continue to provide our visitors with a safe, enjoyable, family-friendly environment.

    Does this policy apply to 2024 and 2025 Season Passholders?
    Yes, beginning on Saturday, September 21, 2024, this policy applies to everyone entering Lake Compounce.

    Does the chaperone need to always stay with the group?
    Chaperones must accompany their party during entry and throughout their visit to the park.

    One chaperone may accompany no more than four guests ages 17 or younger per day.

    What happens if guests 17 years old or younger do not have a chaperone?
    Guests ages 17 or younger will not be permitted into the park without a chaperone that is at least 21 years of age.

    Chaperones must present a valid ID and may not escort more than four guests into the park.

    I am coming with a pre-scheduled company event or school group, does this policy apply?
    A chaperone policy still applies to all group events. If you purchased tickets through our Group Sales department and have questions, please contact the Group Sales department.

    All groups with children 17 years and younger must provide one chaperone for every 10 minors.

  • Can I bring my own food?

    Guests are welcome to bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverage items into the park, provided they are in a soft cooler that does not to exceed 12”x12”x12”. Hard-sided coolers are not allowed into Lake Compounce. Alcohol and glass containers are not permitted in the park. When picnicking outside our gates please note that glass containers, alcohol, and all types of grills are prohibited.

  • Can I bring a bag?

    Yes, you are permitted one bag per guest so long it doesn’t exceed 15”x15”x15”, and one soft-sided cooler per guest, so long it doesn’t exceed 12”x12”x12”. Exceptions will be made for bags carrying childcare supplies and medical supplies. All bags and coolers must remain with you at all time, storage is not available.

    During Phantom Fall Fest, bags that are larger than 8” X 5” X 2” will not be permitted into the park with the exception of bags needed for childcare supplies and medical bags.
